As I often have written, there are two Trump factions...There are the MAGAs, and there are the Republican partisans. Like all couples, occasionally there is tension. The MAGA faction is upset because of the Epstein files. Who could believe that Trump ever chased women or soon to be women? The MAGA is upset because Trump seems to have forgotten about endless wars and regime changes. Who could believe that Trump ever knew or cared what he was talking about?
The partisans are upset because they can't afford to lose any MAGA votes come next November. They are upset because it's tiring to defend someone who changes their mind twice a week.
According to Trump, everything that he does is the best the world has ever seen. If he has a speech writer, that writer must be one of the worst any politician ever had. But then again, Trump was never a politician, but a cult leader, who is getting short in charisma.
Well those couple of us who write comments that are censored are left to guess how many of us there are and how many comments get blocked even as we watch idiotic comments or half baked, for better or worse, remarks that may have some semblance of value installed in with the goofiness of the routinely hyper-simplistic uber-partisan pap from the usual suspect (s).
ReplyDeleteNot that regurgitated Cold War rhetoric doesn’t have its charm, along with the ramblings of other oldsters.
Totally loyal readers of many years standing are treated to another Coke/Pepsi,
Vanilla/Chocolate analysis today.
Come on Mike, you’re old, tired and cranky. We are too, but try to pull yourself together here. You insight is too valuable to squander on such nonsense.
Whoever is encouraging you to push this narrative is doing you and whatever readers left a real disservice.
Well, back about mid-December, this Blog did say for the coming year (2026) this Blog would become monetized. I do know that certain NGOs have been willing to pay various bloggers to spread propaganda to advance the payer’s causes, whatever those causes might be.
DeleteThe Biden and Harris administration had the Epstein information for four full years. Have you gotten so delusional that you don’t think that they looked into nailing Trump in every conceivable way possible?
ReplyDeleteI mean they tried to shame him, ruin him, jail him and shoot him.
That entire Epstein and Trump names association matter is a non-issue. If there was anything to this it would have been revealed years ago.
ReplyDeleteIt is not a crime to have spoken to, or been in the company of any individual who is later found to be a criminal. At least, that’s what both Hillary and Bill Clinton have testified over the past couple weeks.
With regards to Jeffrey Epstein. I would look at the Andrew Windsor, AKA the former Prince Andrew case in England. The British have not released the evidence they have about him yet, and whatever activities or association Donald Trump had with Epsetin would be in those files also. It is clear that Pam Bondi is withholdiing the files here with regards to Donald Trump however the British will not. Once all the information is made public we shall see the extent that the Clintons and Trump actuallyl had with Epsetin and possibly what the relationships actually consisted of.
Deleteanon@3:15, 4:30&5:40: So sorry about your sleep issues, but I'm not sorry about taking Trump and his yes men to task...They can be dangerous, and certainly are so now. As for Epstein, I could care less about Trump's social life. However, it does upset some MAGAs, and that in turn will hurt Republicans in the mid-terms.
ReplyDeleteHere’s the part you’re not understanding. There is almost NOTHING about the current Democrat Party that is appealing to anyone who has half a brain, or is not on welfare. A very unattractive, untrustworthy bunch that has an odor of malfeasance in office.
DeleteI am also an Independent, by the way. NO ONE who has already been in Congress for 2 terms will get my next vote.
No exceptions.
anon@7:58: Thank you for thinking that this blog has the circulation to attract such monetization, but all posts come solely from my disappointment with the administration. However, I did install a link to my Emporium of High Culture on the sidebar, and you're welcome to purchase a trinket from me, made in China.
ReplyDeleteI see more sophisticated political analysis on the MSM outlet formerly known as MSNBC. I am among those who have not ruled out the possibility that MM is trolling his readership with some extremely high level satire.
ReplyDeleteWhile you want to focus on trying to score cheap political points, out here in Realville we're much more concerned with the continued Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security and the Coast Guard.
ReplyDeleteAllowing our country to be unprotected like that never seems like a good idea, particularly now with what is going on in Iran.
Maybe you should write about where the mental midgets running for the democrat congressional nomination in the 7th District stand on the issue and ask them when they're going to speak out against the democrats for shutting down those important agencies.
Or won't they (and you) be happy until we get a terrorist strike here on the homeland?
The D Party has a bull market on “mental midgets”. I say that as someone who spent 50 years as a D.

DHS did not exist before 9/11
DeleteIt was a knee-jerk reaction by W. Bush and DHS is, in reality, a colllection of federal law enforcement agencies that existed under different departments already
Department of Homeland Security has an Orwellian ring to it anyway. It is like the American KGB. I would prefer it be broken up and its components returned to the agencies they were located in before.
Yes, the nomenclature had an odd ring.
DeleteOne of the lessons from 911 was not only did LE Agencies have cultural barriers to communication and collaboration but they lacked the structural and technical capacities needed for communication and collaboration.
IWT, if not in a front row seat just in the second section under contract for OCCOPS, USDOJ.
