Crime Against Cuba

I consider the blockage of oil to Cuba a crime. Cuba has gone dark, which includes home medical devices and other powered items essential to people's welfare. I'm astonished how malleable Marco Rubio is. Apparently, even being a senator was beyond his actual pay-grade, while as Secretary of State he is embarrassing...Witkoff and Kushner have been assigned to the lifting.

Trump jests that he might install Marco as governor or emperor of Cuba, or some such title. Trump promised no more forever wars, but he never said anything about endless conflicts. He essentially destroyed our alliances going back to WW2.

Yesterday, a commenter stated that we should pull out of the Middle East and let Europe deal with the problem in the Strait of Hormuz. He may not realize that it is a problem that we created, and that our departure is the solution. Needless to say that the same commenter had no problem with our embargo of Cuba.

  1. Bring back Hunter Biden. This is a critical opportunity for a top notch consultant.

    1. Hey, he’d probate be better than Rubio. The total lack of integrity and the only job requirement being loyalty leaves Trump surrounded by spineless suck ups. His literal madness has no limitations.

  2. We need to become better at dealing with opinions that run contrary to our own. It is only then that education can take place.

  3. Cuba has been harmed by its own government and failed political philosophy for decades now. The power grid problem there is of its own making. You know, misplaced government priorities that have caused its residents to still be driving around in 1950s cars. They could have at least installed a few windmills solar fields along the way. /sarc

  4. I consider the blockage of oil too little, too late. We should have done this immediately after the death of Fidel, and saved the people many more years of a Castro catastrophe.

  5. I'm willing to bet that Trump's next scheme will be a US takeover of the Strait of Hormuz then payment of tolls for all non-US oil shipments that go through.

  6. Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of States who set a bar high for all those that follow.
It is a tragedy that she was denied the opportunity to serve the country and the world as President of the United States.

    Wow.
I bet you are right about that.
    Great insight. Thank you.

  8. Cuba is not a threat to the U.S. and much of this is to pacify Trumps neighbors in Florida. If starving them doesn't work we can bomb them and kill them to save them. After 65 years of sanctions, and other pressure, maybe just let them alone and they will figure it out for themselves.

  9. Well, of course the Ped in Chief has got to move on to the next distraction because that's the move a scammer knows best. What we have is a convicted felon who knows if the Trump-Epstein files are ever fully released his gold foil empire will come crumpling down and he will be disgraced (which wouldn't faze him) and/ or he will be rightously sent to prison which is his greatest fear. Expext nukes flying somewhere before that ever happens.

You are a moron, but apparently with an inside track. Your nonsense always gets posted and never a name. You add nothing of substance to any discussion but you do serve to remind readers how base, ignorant, juvenile and ill informed so many of the public remain.
      Thank you for that.

  10. Mike is your game plan to continue to cover national issues here, and local issues on the Morning Chronicle?

  11. anon@10:48: No, The Morning Chronicle.Net will only be sporadic, and important local issues will still be covered here. You'll have to continue daily braying against Tuerk on Truth.

    1. Sorry I'm not Abe, I'm the guy who wrote the other day hoping you'd go back to doing more on local issues.

The old Mike Molovinsky would have cared that Josh Siegel transferred the salaries of 6 Cedarbrook nurses and 2 prison guards to the County Exec's office, to be used to hire "media specialists," so that the County would pay for Josh to assemble his Tik Tok video library to use when he runs for Governor.

      My bad.

  12. Trump was supposed to be focusing on domestic issues. Such as the cost of housing, food prices, employment. He campaigned on no more foreign interventions, no more forever wars. His spectacle with Zelinsky last year and his statement about stopping the Ukraine was in one day. all of this has gone down the river.

Venesuela, Iran, now Cuba.. none of all this foreign stuff was in his Make America Great Again promises. How much money are we going to have to spend on Iran, now Cuba will want a bailout

Sorry, we need to spend money at home and no more of these foreign adventures that just are never ending black holes of money

    1. Yeah, even with the spike in oil prices because of the war with Iran, we’re still paying less at the pump than we did under Biden and the democrats.

Three weeks in Iran is hardly a “forever war”, nor is a few days in Venezuela.

    2. Fitst and foremost these posters are looking for any reason to criticize President Trump Doesn't need to be a legitimate beef

Secondly they expect instant results regardless how large the task

  13. anon@2:39am: What you and 10:17 have in common is no name. Although I could care less about the Epstein file, the Trump family presidential wealth index makes Hunter Biden look like an amateur, which he was.
