More and more, I refrain from commenting on my own posts. The Trumpers get more and more defensive, and accuse me of being a communist for opposing their leader. How would they explain both Trump and Putin supporting the same candidate in the Hungarian elections?
Vance traveled to Budapest to endorse Orban, who has ruled Hungary since 2016. While the European Union is hoping his opponent wins, the Trump administration supports Putin's man, Viktor Orban.
It wasn't that long ago that American Presidents said, at least publicly, that outsiders should not interfere in the democratic elections of other countries. We were concerned about Russian inference in our own elections. We now have an authoritarian regime in our country, and support them elsewhere. I remember when Hungarians revolted in 1956. I suspect that they too will remember when they vote on Sunday. Likewise, I think Americans had enough of Trump, and will vote accordingly against his sycophants come November.
Victor Orban is a stooge for Vladimir Putin, and is not liked by the people of Hungry. He is far behind in the opinion polls there and hopefully the voters will get rid of him. That will restore the Democratic Humgry that has existed since the end of Communism in 1991. Of course, because he is Putin's friend is why Trump likes him and Vance went to Budapest.
ReplyDeleteOrban is one of only few EU members who make any sense, that is why he is being targeted by the EU elite for defeat. By the way, Germany has reinstated conscription and is prosecuting eligible men who leave the country. It looks the UK and France has found another proxy to go to war with Russia, Poland rejected that idea for their army.
ReplyDeleteWow MM, I guess you really didn't want to write about how the only war crimes that occurred yesterday were from the Iranian regime, since you're already on to the next democrat talking point of fake outrage to bash Trump.
ReplyDeleteNot surprising. The democrats and their allies in the media have to try to keep the anti-Trump smear machine going up until the election. They're playing you like a fiddle.
The ridiculous part of all the Democrat craziness is that Trump isn’t even a candidate for office!
DeleteTrump is having a heyday. He’s talking like a super-villan and describing his staff “from central casting.” Soon he’ll have to change songs, because soon all that Republican money won’t be going to him. He’ll have to figure out a way to keep the family in the fundraising loop but after mid-terms Trump won’t be seen as the king-maker with control of the campaign money. Republicans must come up with real candidates, not Maga.
ReplyDeleteanon@1:59: I'm afraid for you it isn't just Democrats...the issue is the silence of the Republican party, aka you.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t work that way. All you are doing is propaganda about things in which you seem to lack adequate knowledge, so you end up name-calling as a defense. Your propaganda is helping to drive people to their alternative, radical Democrat politicians. A place they don’t really understand, either.
DeleteI can agree many in Republican politics are losers only interested in feathering their own bed. But the percentage of such creeps is far greater in the form of (now) anti-American Democrats who have taken over that party.
Our nation is in danger of overthrow by miscreants within. Neither one of us wins under that scenario. Our best bet to get through this is to choose the old ‘lesser of two evils.’ At the moment, the lesser evil is still the weak Republican Party.
You, Sir, can win an argument but in doing so, lose the war. So, what’s the net gain for you. Your ego?
anon@3:58: I'm glad to print a few comments expressing an opinion different than my own, but not repetitive comments, always saying the same thing. I assure you that neither you or I will convince anybody who supports or opposes this administration. If you think you can change people's minds you'll have to start your own blog.
