As Allentown Turns, It Seems

It seems that there is commotion at the Allentown School District. The school board of color hired a superintendent of color who hired a rasher of administrators of color. Some of those administrators who failed to properly perform and were let go are now suing the district for discrimination!?!

It seems that the queen city bees are buzzing about the mayor jogging in Madrid. I suspect that future running selfies will be limited to the Allentown Park System.

It seems that there are those in Lehigh County, such as Mark Pinsley and Josh Siegel, who think that a Wealth Tax on county residents could help balance the budget and finance more affordable housing.

  1. Oh, sure. A Wealth Tax. Start by looking at what’s happening in New York and California, two of America’s most liberal, majority Democrat states. In both places, the so-called “wealthy” people are moving out in droves.

This is the beauty of a nation of individual states, some level-headed in their governance, others not. We can leave those not-so-smart failing states and move elsewhere, and still be residing in America.

Next, the question becomes “Who shall determine what too much wealth is?” To a man with but $5 left in his pocket, Do I, with just $10 in my own pocket, become the next wealthy person to target?

    Think it over.
