On Saturday night, Trump stated that the earthquake in Venezuela was terrible, but because of his takeover of that country, people were dancing in the streets. I have been watching reports from that devastated country, and needless to say, no one is dancing.
How out of touch must someone be to refer to dancing when there is so much destruction and death? Trump is right up there with Marie Antoinette. How sycophantic can Republicans be to not call Trump out about such statements?
Although the Republicans are emboldened by the Trump pick successes in the primaries, they may well end up with a less competitive candidate come the general in November.
Yes, locally I can’t wait to vote for Bob Brooks so he can rubber stamp whatever his democrat/socialist masters put in front of him.
ReplyDeleteNot!
Better than Mackenzie rolling over for whatever Daddy says.
Deleteanon@7:43: The election will be a dilemma for me. I normally prefer not to vote, rather than choose between two bad choices. Some say to. go with the lessor of the bad.
ReplyDeleteFor me it comes down to the future I want to see for the country, for myself and my grandkids.
ReplyDeleteI can tolerate disagreements on issues, but the democratic party takeover by the socialists attack the very basis that our country founded on. The anti-semitism on open display in the democratic party is frightening, sad and disgusting.
I’m a democrat, and I’ll be voting against democrats until my party understands that they need to expel the socialists, instead of following them.
That’s great! Then just vote for white nationalists. Because that’s what Republicans are moving towards.
Delete3:04 - You’ve got to be kidding. The socialists are anti-Semitic, while the democrats are running a Nazi sympathizer for Senate in Maine. In addition, the democrats have been funding the leftists in the Southern Poverty Law Center, who have been funneling money to the same white nationalists you want us to believe they oppose.
DeleteBrooks hasn’t denounced any of this, and is running to be a rubber-stamp for the democrats/socialist agenda and to keep the hate funded. I’ll pass.
I’m going to wait until I can cast a vote for Gavin Newsom.
ReplyDeleteTump is no conservative - he uses conservives to advance his ajenda. I believe he is an admirer of Vladimir Putin due to his long association with Russia over the past 30 years and the money he has taken friom Russians in his buisness dealings since the 90s;. I support Ukraine and their fight against the Russian invaders. That is why Trump never pressures Putin to stop invading, and his dislike of Zelinsky...
ReplyDeleteIn this election cycle, I will not support any canidite who supports or is endorsed by Trump. That means my time in the voting booth will be short as I won't suppport any Democrat loon who confuses men and women either. I suppose then I will be voting for the minor offices then. It is just that kind of year.
anon@8:43: The Republicans will cast every far left victory as the Democratic platform, but both parties have moderates, who hopefully will prevail in November.
ReplyDeleteSo where are the democrat moderates? Which democrat is speaking out against the socialist takeover of the party?
DeleteI count one, and it’s John Fetterman.
All the others, particularly those in leadership, are falling all over themselves to accommodate the socialists and their agenda.
At the state and local level, it’s even worse and I haven’t heard of ANY elected Democrat in the Valley come out against the socialists.
A vote for any democrat is a vote for whatever the democrat/socialists are going to put forward.
Same with deciding to NOT vote for a republican in these races. It only helps the democrat/socialists.
anon@8:43&12:05: Please take no offense if repetitive posts about democrat/socialist are not printed, or repetitive posts with any POV,, myself excluded of course :). This blog is years past worrying about comment count, or accusations of censorship. I do however worry about boring, crassness and hosting mental illness.
