If Mackenzie rode Trump's tails into Congress, he may well be riding the same tails out. With gasoline over $4.30 a gallon, that pickup with the flag may be waving it less. While Trump's narcissism may be stoked by renaming things after himself, the pickup driver doesn't share the pride.
I think the clock is running out on Mackenzie speaking up and out. The local Latino vote will be a wildcard. Although they may trend Democratic, both Mackenzie and Brooks are transparent fakers when courting that demographic. How energized either party can get the Latinos for this election is questionable.
I'm offended by the amount of money going into the race. The Republicans are counting on Trump doing a lot of campaigning for them. Trump says that voters should make believe that he's on the ballot. That might not be the incentive he thinks.
Latinos have been in the area for a while now. Many are culturally similar to the rest of us at this point and don’t consider race/ethnicity in their decision making as much as the pundits would like us to believe. It’s a modest factor that will impact the turnout of some first generation Latinos, but I don’t see it turning the election one way or another.
ReplyDeleteI don’t believe hardworking Middle Class Americans are completely unaware of what’s happening around the nation in cities and states where Democrat Socialists (and worse) have taken control. Despite the news media doing its best to hide decisions being made in places like New York City, Seattle, and Minneapolis, it’s becoming more obvious by the day American culture and value is under attack.
ReplyDeleteMiddle Class productive America is becoming a target to provide a source of funding for REDISTRIBUTION to, let’s say, the less motivated in our communities. Voting Democrat keeps us going down that dangerous path.
Brooks can certainly be elevated into office. But, it won’t be with my vote.
I’m much more concerned that Brooks hasn’t condemned socialism.
ReplyDeleteIf democrats think the answer to the “affordability” is more of what the democrats were doing two years ago or what Mandami is currently doing in NY, they’re in for a terrible surprise.
Say what you want about Trump and the Iran war, but gas prices are still better than they were under the economic POLICIES of the democrat socialists in Congress (gas was over $5/gallon).
By the way, if democrats really believe that “affordability” is a top priority, why do they continue to raise taxes? Siegel and his democrat flunkies in Lehigh County want an 18% tax hike, and NorCo will likely be getting an even higher proposal. Do democrats think that higher taxes make our lives more affordable?
Yeah, millions of dollars are floating around in this race because neither Democrats or Republicans believe in campaign finance reform. I still do, in fact, it's on my platform that I want to convince other Congress people to pass some kind of American anti-corruption act, among other elements of my platform.

Yes, the Iran war has temporarily driven gas prices up while the conflict is happening. But Democrat policy is to make gas prices permanently higher and force people into vehicles that people don’t want to buy. Everywhere democrats are in power they’re raising taxes.
The DSA wants to control every aspect of people’s lives. They think they know everything, and want you reliant on them for everything.
To top it all off , they also want to eliminate the senate, the presidency, and pack the Supreme Court. That’s not “protecting democracy”, it’s destroying it.
There’s no way in hell I’m voting for Brooks so he can vote for that.
You can wallow in your Trump hate and sit this one out, which is exactly what the socialists want you to do. But realize that by doing so things might be much worse by the time you get to vote again.
